PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP: LAW ASPECTS

Abstract

The article analyzes principal approaches to the definition of the concept of the «public-private partnership», its legal nature and peculiarities. It is emphasized, that partner relationships are based on the special law mechanism, which helps to achieve the balance between public and private interests. Main features of application of public-private partnership forms in Ukraine, factors, which hold its further development back, problems and contradictions, are explored. The author makes a conclusion, that increasing of the effectiveness of partner relationships in Ukraine can be achieved by further improvement of the proper institutional basis.
